ULL will hold its AGM this year on Nov 29th. in Crookwell
Please save the date! While any AGM is of course called to elect the operating committee for the coming year, the ULL AGM is also a great opportunity to share a lovely meal with friends old and new while hearing from an expert in fields of interest to Landcarers.
The evening will begin at 5.30pm with the general meeting to present the annual report on activities of the 2023/24 financial year and to quickly conduct the business of renewing the operating committee, before moving on to the dinner and guest speaker. If you would like to nominate for any of the positions in the committee, please download and fill in the FORM below, and bring it to the meeting (additional copies of the form will be available on the night for those who can't print at home). Please consider nominating, the roles are vital and interesting, ensuring Landcare continues and thrives in the Upper Lachlan, helping people get great things done on the ground. Informed by community feedback, we are planning a suite of new projects alongside the major established ones, so it's a good time to get involved.
For this year's AGM we are very pleased to announce that the guest speaker will be Dr Richard Kock, professor of Wildlife health and emerging diseases. Richard has worked for decades as a wildlife veterinary scientist, at the Zoological Society London and in Kenya, researching diseases that cross between livestock and wildlife.
